Description
Earthworm casting coarse blend from The Worm Casting Company are microbe-rich castings from earthworms blended with 1/4” screened vermicompost. Harvested worm castings are blended 1:3 with vermicompost that has been screened to remove larger pieces of undigested organic material.
With less potential for compaction, this coarser grain blend has higher flowability through equipment for broadcast, in-furrow or top dressing applications. Ideal for potting soil blends, heavy soils, and co-applying with grass seed.

Usage Guidelines
Trees, Vines & Shrubs
Before planting, mix 1 part coarse casting blend with 2 parts soil. Line newly dug hole with mixture, position the plant and backfill with mixture. Periodically top dress established plants with 3 quarts casting blend per inch of trunk diameter, spread evenly over root zone and water.
Vegetables, Annuals & Perennials
Before seeding or transplanting, mix 1 part casting blend with 3 parts soil or growing media. Periodically side dress established plants with casting blend throughout the growing season.
Lawn & Turf
Before seeding, apply 40 lbs of casting blend per 100 sq ft of topsoil. Blend lightly into topsoil, mix in grass seed and water well. Alternatively, apply 40 lbs of casting blend together with grass seed per 100 sq ft of topsoil. Once established, top dress with 20 lbs of casting blend per 100 sq ft 2-3 times per year.
